The National Living Wage for workers aged 21 and over from April 2026

Figures use 2026/27 rates and simple assumptions, for planning. Ask us to run it on your own figures.

Your week

How the figures are worked out

  1. Employer National Insurance is 15% of each person's weekly pay above £96.
  2. The Employment Allowance of £10,500 is spread evenly over 52 weeks and never takes the week's National Insurance below nothing.
  3. Rolled-up holiday pay is 12.07% of pay, for irregular hours and part-year workers only.
  4. Pension contributions are left out.
