Privacy notice

Accountants for Hospitality is a trading style of Buzz Accounting Ltd, which is the data controller for the personal data described here.

Who we are

Accountants for Hospitality is a trading style of Buzz Accounting Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15182358, VAT registration number GB481 882 554, registered office 16 Aylmer Parade, London N2 0PE. You can reach us at hello@buzzaccounting.co.uk.

What we collect and why

If you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your business name and your message. If you become a client we hold what we need to do the work and to meet our own obligations: accounting records, identity documents for anti-money-laundering checks, and payroll data where we run your payroll.

Payroll work includes your staff's personal data: names, pay, tips, tax codes and bank details. We hold that data as a processor on your instructions, use it only for the engagement, and it is covered by the confidentiality terms in our letter of engagement.

Our lawful bases

  • Contract: doing the work you engaged us to do.
  • Legal obligation: anti-money-laundering checks and statutory records.
  • Legitimate interests: replying to an enquiry you sent us.

Who else sees it

Our software providers see it as processors, including Netlify, which receives the contact form. HMRC and Companies House see what we file for you. We do not sell data.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, and only with your consent: nothing loads and no cookie is set unless you accept it on the banner, and declining changes nothing about how the site works.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not become engagements for up to 24 months. We keep client records for six years after the engagement ends, plus the anti-money-laundering records we must keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
